If you haven't any bits of rhodochrosite kicking around Jerry, I will try to get around to testing it on some stained stuff I picked up in Colorado. Follow all the usual steps when treating specimens in this manner, presoak specimen, dissolve Iron Out in distilled water (though it seems to work quite well with Toronto tap water.... and that's some chemical stew), rinse, rinse, rinse, and then dry with a hairdryer set at cool and placed a short distance from the specimen.
