Capulin is well worth it. Mt. Capulin is a volcano, a splendid example of a geologically young cinder cone. In the small town nearby there used to be a Folsom museum, but it was open only infrequently. It's nice country, at least to a geologist. I have seen a label stating "Vulture Mine near Pioche, NV." Anybody know about this? I'm aware of an Arizona Vulture Mine and I know De Lorme shows a number of mines near Pioche, but .... I have listings for two different Vulture mines in Nevada, one is gold / silver mine in Churchill County, and the other is a mercury mine in Pershing County. But since Pioche is in Lincoln County, on the opposite side of the state, so I have no further clues...
